Do you remember the old puzzles, you might even have gotten them in school, where you have several people, and from clues you must discover characteristics about them? Well thank God it's easier to figure out on the computer or I would have a heck of a time reviewing this program! I could never solve these kind of logic questions! [and we won't even discuss how I could hurt myself with stuff like one train leaves New York heading west going 25 miles and hour and another train leaves Chicago going east going 40-when will they meet? My teacher got REALLY mad when I tried to give her an answer of 'when hell freezes over'!]
This game I actually managed to figure out-at least in the standard mode, which is one of the 2 ways you can play. The other mode is called logic grid, and it is stated that it is advanced. I tried it once and got so lost....In the standard mode you can drag and drop your selections to the answer grid. When you start playing, you have the option of putting in your own information, or clicking on quick start, which puts in information for you. Then you click generate puzzle, and you're off!
You are being timed, and your standing on the high score list depends on how fast you can solve the puzzle. The shareware version has only 2 levels, [level 1 and level 6] if you register the program, you will receive all ten levels. There are several clues to follow, that give you the information to tell you where the goodies go. You need to put the people in the right order, with the correct weight, height, and age, and the correct article of clothing, and when you do, you will be congratulated and given your time. There are hints to help you, although you will be penalized, and little check boxes you can mark for the answers you are sure of.
The game is kinda cute, and also would be enjoyed by kids, not the real young kind-they gotta read-the sarcastic-"I-can-do-everything-better-on-the-computer" kind.
