This is not only a Baccarat game, it is a Baccarat trainer. They mention that Baccarat is the most misunderstood of all casino games, but it is the easiest to play. When I've gone to Vegas, I don't recall seeing any Baccarat tables, where I tripped over the 21 tables, slot machines, and roulette wheels.

This is a shareware program. All features are enabled, but after playing about 150 hands, the features of the games and the amount of decks progressively reduce.

Lucky 9 Baccarat has a copy of the rules but it also shows what cards are needed for various results by displaying card values in the learners area located under the dealt cards when the cursor hovers above a downturned card. But don't get me wrong, you don't have to be a beginner to enjoy this game, if you're experienced, simply unclick the learn feature under file and have at it.

There are quite a few options you can change or modify, such as shoe size, [no, that's not what you're wearing on your feet!] animation, dealers options and more. They are coming out with a Professional Edition of Baccarat in the first quarter of 2000, if you purchase this version of the game before that, you will be able to get the professional Edition for 50% off.

The rules of Baccarat are not very extensive, if you know how to play you won't care, and if you don't know how to play, then you are expected to use the learner feature. This seems like a good program, I say seems like since I never played this game before, so I'm still not sure what I'm doing! [but if I waited until I knew what I was doing before writing this review, it would be moldy by the time I got it out!]
