LunarCell is another new plugin filter from Flaming Pear, the same people who brought us Blade Pro and Super Blade Pro. As the name implies, LunarCell helps you create instant planets, moons, and worlds with atmospheric effects. The images you can create with LunarCell are amazingly realistic.

>From within LunarCell's user interface you can tweak (1) the planet controls (used to change aspects of your planets' physical characteristics, such as size, land texture/complexity, and crater size/texture); (2) the climate controls (changes the amount of ice, desert, sea level and planet color); (3) the cloud controls (alters cloud color/coverage/edges/height/shadows/texture); as well as the direction of light, backlighting, and pole placement. One of the more interesting capabilities of LunarCell: Within the cloud controls, you can either use synthetic clouds or use real clouds from weather satellites, downloaded via your internet connection! One of the hallmarks of Flaming Pear's filter collection is the dice button, which, in this case, will create planets using random settings.
