There is only one word to describe PhotoShop: Incredible. I love making web graphics and playing with image editors, and anyone who knows webdesign also knows that Adobe PhotoShop is the industry standard the tool of the master craftsman.

PhotoShop 6 offers TWAIN support, photo editing capabilities, editable text, a vector drawing tool, bezier editing, layer merging, web-based color palette, rollover creation, image slicing, image mapping, batch image editing, as well as creating animated gifs and generating HTML.

PhotoShop is a professional quality graphics tool. If you've never played with graphic-creation before, PhotoShop is probably not where you want to start. Opening the software and looking around for the first time (for this Paint Shop Pro-trained amateur) was nearly heart-stopping and is definitely overwhelming. But the effects possible with PhotoShop beat any other graphics software hands down. Unfortunately, so does the hefty price.
