Word Zap is a good looking word game you play against the computer, or you can ICQ. There are several game types, which would control how many letters you get, or how many letters needed in the words you pick. The first player to make 7 unique words wins. If you and the computer pick the same word it is zapped and no one gets it. There are also matches and tournaments available.

The game is fun, yet easy enough that school kids could play, and games like this will improve your spelling. [even helped me!]
