In the spirit of Chopper Command and the many classic dos horizontal-scrolling flight adventures, PLBM games brings up Heli-Jeep. In this classic adventure with a twist, you alone, or you and a friend take command of the most advanced combat Helicopter and Jeep available with an unlimited supply of missiles at your disposal.
Your mission is to travel the galaxy conquering every planet that you encounter with one goal in mind; complete and utter destruction of the enemy. This game will require your best keyboard, mouse, or joystick skills in order to avoid enemy surface to air batteries, enemy helicopters, flying saucers, and really big ground launched missiles as well as enemy artillery bunkers.
Installation of this game is almost as easy as inserting an Atari cartridge. All you have to do is unzip the file and run the program. The graphics in this game are pretty intense, adding to its classic style. However, this game does not have sound. This update is defiantely something that I would look for in a future update. Sound would definitely add to the overall game play value.
Registration is $14.95 and it allows you to conquer the entire galaxy. The shareware allows you to play about 4 and a half levels before it stops you.
