Despite its lack of sound effects of music, Nitro!, a remake of the classic Bomberman series is an excellent creation. The game features an incredible array of enemies, including ghosts, robots, and even guys that look like evil Pac Men. The object of the game is to place bombs strategically so that they will destroy obstacles and enemies and not destroy you. It is the type of game that promotes logical thinking skills and fast reactions while being fun and destructive at the same time.
As you destroy the obstacles and blocks in your way you can gain powerups such as additional bombs to deploy at once, powerups that increase the range of effectiveness for your bombs, and even the ability to kick bombs away from you. Be careful though, because not everything is a powerup! Use common sense; don't pick up a skull thingy it's NOT a powerup.
Installation of the game consists of unzipping the game and playing it. This is very easy as long as you have unzipping software. Overall, the game needs sound to compete in the market. Other than that, download it and give this piece of shareware a shot.
