I've played a lot of Pong and Breakout in my life. PLBM is one of many gaming companies that have crafted clones in an attempt to match the greatness of these classics. Sadly, I've played hotter and faster pong/breakout games on a calculator.

The troubles start out in the physics of the game, which is actually two games in one. In pong mode (seen above) you battle it out for the goal against a friend or the computer. The game does allow you to use a joystick, but I couldn't find an Atari style pong turney, wheely thingy to get the full effect of pong. The first problem lies in the motion of the paddles in the game. They're just too darn slow! And, you can customize everything in the game, except for this trouble spot. The angle of attack and ball speed customization is blurred by the fact that the floating cube that they used as a ball moves in the choppiest fashion, truly detracting from the game.

Breakout mode was a little better, but like I said, my TI-86 (graphing calculator) has a better game on it. The graphics are choppy, ball angle is slow, and once again, the paddle moves too slowly to try to make a game out of it. The sounds consist of clicks and beeps. This is all that's needed. Installation is a snap and the game runs fine. PLBM Pong-Out is a valiant effort. But that's it.
