My husband is a disc jockey, as well as an avid music collector, and I'm always searching for a way to keep track of our ever-growing collection. Naturally, we don't JUST collect 45s, LPs, CDs, or cassettes, but have a large collection of each of them. Hence, the motivation for trying CATraxx 2000.

CATraxx is software which is designed (very well, I might add) to inventory your music collection. It has numerous fields for albums, as well as tracks, which makes cataloging information (artist, album title, format [CD, vinyl record, cassette, etc.)] release date, label, catalog number, purchase price, current value, music category, condition, playing time, song title, etc., etc.) very easy as well as accessible. You can even store an image of the album cover, attach an MP3 file, or add personal comments.

If you love music and have a large collection that you need to inventory (for your own or insurance purposes), I've never seen a software that does the job as well as CATraxx 2000. I highly recommend it! The shareware version is functional for 30 days . . . give it a try!
