Gomomail is a strange little program, first I went crazy looking for it, then I finally discovered that it is only a Java appelet, as the home page says. You can draw, paint, add pictures, backgrounds, and cool animations, and even add sound. This is something that you do while on the internet on the Gomo webpage. It has most of the tools a paint program has, pencil, text, rectangle, filled rectangle, etc. and it has small images and animation. The animation images are wonderful. There are dozens of them, and dozens of background, and dozens of images. The program is also very, very easy to use, and it says that anyone you sent it to will automatically get the appelet so that they can view it. It did say though, that AOL 4.0 users might lose some of the images or animations.

This is DEFINITELY something you need to try at least once, and while this might not be exactly what the authors had in mind, I’ll bet your kids will really get a kick out of this. After all the price is right, what do you have to lose?
