OK what is this thing? well like it says it is a File Manager, it has a Dual Window mode and Explorer mode. It opens Zip, Rar and Ace files as folders. It has history and bookmarks just as in a web browser A toolbox full of useful utilities plus extensive configuration options.

Right away you are confronted with decisions. Like how do you want this thing to look and work, well try out the Magellan option. And Let it assosiate the Zip files. Here is why, the Magellan look gives you side by side windows that really are useful, plus by associating it with the Zip files they open right where they are like normal files, pretty cool. It also will ftp too. These are the most useful and things that you eill probably use all the time. there are anumber of other things that it does too, like you can run scandisk, and defrag.

Oh, and you can bookmark, a really nice feature.

I'm sure I didn't explain as well as I might have how the Magellan window looks, it really is nice. Also shows your ftp sites.

Nag, nag, nag. Everytime you open Magellan during your 30 day evaluation period you ger a Nag Screen. Also there are a few features that don't work with the evaluation version.

In conclusion. This is the best Windows Explorer replacement I have seen, and I have seen lots of them. Give it a try!
