OK, how is you paranoia threshold these days? Well whether it is high, or low, the Window Washer will let you breathe easier. It will also free up some disk space too. On my first run it offed 13 Mb.
Here is what it cleans up: Windows Document History, Windows Temporary Files, Netscape Cache, Internet Explorer Cache, Internet Explorer Cookies, Document History and Streams, Windows Find History, Windows Run History, .CHK Scan Disk Files , Recycle Bin, MS-Office Tracks (MRU) and Downloaded Program Files Directory.
This covers most of what it does in a general sort of way. To be more specific, it can erase most of the stuff that builds up on your computer that contains information about you and where you have been on the Internet. It though does not go about this blindly. You can set up what you want it to get rid of, you can even setup how many times it should over write the information it has erased, up to 7 times to get it up to NSA recommended 7 pass erasure.
The interface is nice looking, the default settings are good and the options you want are all there.
In conclusion even if you never you worry about security I would give this 5 star program a try, there really is stuff you want to get rid on your hard drive. If you are at all security minded this program is a must have. Got try it out
