Based on what I believe to be issues with NTFS and this software, the $100 PC data finder would not run any searches on my main (C) drive. It did, however run well on the other three partitions that are FAT 32, not NTFS.

What the software is designed to do is run an index of all the files on your drive listing every single word located in these files. The search allows you to search by word/phrase fora file that you are having trouble finding. This goes along with their logo, "if it's on your PC, PC Data Finder will locate it.

The software is a fairly nice piece of eye candy, and really does seem to be a worthwhile product, but at just under $100, I don't expect any families or individuals to be rushing to their local computer store and buying this software any time soon.
