Well, since before I can remember there has been a print screen button on my keyboards. This goes back to the old days of the AT system when that little button ACTUALLY sent the image from the screen to the printer, and still today, if you pay attention, when you are in DOS or when you start up your computer the print screen key will still perform that function. Today, we have a flotilla of software designed to enhance and bring life to the veteran print screen key. This software, Print Screen Works is just one of the many available products nowadays. 

This software, as the default will automatically print the screen when you press print screen. (Try and say that five times fast!) You, of course can turn this feature off in the options dialog. The software also gives you the power to zoom in/out, edit the pictures, and even encrypt your files. This adds to the uniqueness of this beaten horse of a genre. 

The ability to encrypt the image of your desktop adds security to anyone who feels that they need it. The software runs well in all 32-bit versions of Windows, including Windows 2000. Performance can go up or down depending on your system and the video card that you use.
