I'm very lucky in my reviewing, I very rarely get any naff programs to look at and Cool Menu is no exception. Sothink CoolMenu is a flexible menu tool to create pop-up Java menu. Using this program you can create unlimited menu and submenu items at your leisure without knowing any HTML or Java code.
There are two ways to create new effects, either by selecting a well-designed template as a basis or create a new one from a blank. The newly added preview window allows you to preview any changes made whilst still retaining the facility to preview in your browser. There is a tabbed interface for users to set every conceivable parameter for the menu you are creating. There are also facilities for you to insert images and sound to your menus for added effect. Putting your finished masterpiece on the page is just a mouse click away. The only niggle I had with the program was the Help file which does lose something in the translation on more than one occasion though overall it is comprehensible.
Sothink Cool Menu also works seamlessly with Front Page 98 and Sothink HTML Editor.
This is a very neat and efficient tool and value for money.
