AlphaWorks is the first in the series of freeware filters by Cybia. Not only are these filters compatible with PhotoShop, but also with Ultimate Paint, Paint Shop Pro, Gimp, Adobe ImageReady, Ulead Gif Animator and Adobe Premiere. (Check the Cybia website for other possibly compatible programs). This set contains 20 filters which produce black and white transparency effects.

Unlike most freeware filters, the Cybia website very informative and provides a great deal of technical support. Download them and give them a try!
