Why did we ever bother with Windows Explorer? PowerDesk 4 has me wondering.... and maybe Bill should take some lessons on building a File Manager from OnTrack?!

You NEED this software! It's free and does everything Windows Explorer does and then some! PowerDesk gives you a single or dual pane file management window, a file finder, zip and unzip, a dialog helper, the ability to encrypt/decrypt files, as well as a very handy "move file" feature on your right click menu. From within PowerDesk, you can create a rescue diskette, format disks, view your "favourites" ... It didn't make my family's supper tonight, but it came close!

The freeware does have a minor nag screen at the bottom, but I understand this is not connected to the Internet (not spyware). I love this software, and it's staying on my computer!

The Professional version goes further than PowerDesk 4 -- it includes an FTP, a customizable toolbar for quick access to favorite files/applications, file viewing capabilities, graphic file conversion capabilities, a size manager which shows you which files are cluttering your hard drive, as well as 90 days of free technical support, and much more.

This is an incredible piece of freeware. Download it today!
