AllegroSurf is a full proxy server and also acts as a web page cache, DNS cache, and web accelerator. Filtering specified items, pages, site content or blocking complete sites is not a problem. The software supports many protocols and its user interface is simple and clear, both for remove or local administration.

Four versions of AllegroSurf are included in the single download: A free, single-feature, and standalone option; free, single-feature, and network option; full-feature standalone; and full-feature, network, or enterprise option. With the single-feature versions, you have all features available, but allow you to use only one proxy at a time. They are both free. The other two versions are shareware versions which will expire in 30 days. All versions include the AllegroSurf Voyager, a remote or local administration tool. AllegroSurf supports a variety of connection types, from analog modem through to T1.
