You know those irritating, annoying little windows and banners that suddenly pop out of nowhere, cluttering your screen and making you forget what you were doing? With PopNot installed and running, you won't have any of them! Now, to someone like me who really hates those stupid windows, that's well worth the $12 U.S. already! PopNot does offer several additional options which control how Internet Explorer loads and more.

PopNot appears as a light bulb icon in your system tray; yellow means PopNot's on, white means it's off. In the event you need to allow a second window to appear (as with some websites that force links to open in secondary windows), a double click on the icon will turn PopNot off or on. PopNot's settings can be altered to allow it to load and terminate with Internet Explorer and to allow pop-ups at selected websites or for local HTML content. PopNot works only with Internet Explorer 5.01 or later.

High-Density Software provides an online manual, a quick start guide, and FAQ for PopNot, although the software is very easy to install and configure. It's also very non-intrusive and I like that.

The shareware version of PopNot is fully functional for 10 days (I'm betting you'll be getting out the credit card before the 10 days are over!) Download it and see what you think.
