MGI Software has done it once again. They have created a program that is so easy to use, produces what you want, and performs to the "nth" degree. I'm talking about their video editor named VideoWave of course. With VideoWave you can enter images one by one, or capture video off of many items you may have already around the house. NOTE: You will of course need a video Capture Card installed in your computer before you can start capturing video data from external sources (listed below).
Once you have the video it's just a matter of editing. You can edit in the DarkRoom, add special effects, give it a Time Warp, and add credits or any other text to any frame. You can also add transitions between frames and audio content. Now, if you have many frames in your video you can use the Scene Detector to quickly find any frame.
How easy is it? Just click the Capture button to begin capturing and editing video from a video camera, television, VCR, or laserdisc player. Once done simply transform your movie into a digitized .AVI files (Video for Windows) that you can play back on your computer. Do you think you have what it takes to win a contest? Registered users can upload to the Web (free) not only your own content, but enter your video into monthly contests! So go ahead, grab that video camera and begin shooting, editing, and producing that video you've always dreamed about.
Since viewing and editing is done so easily, you'll soon be producing videos in no time at all. Follow and add frames via the Storyline. A scene in the Storyline is a series of scenes (including any special effects you've added). Single scenes are saved as one type of format while a series of scenes (the entire Storyline) are saved in another. Storyline files can be reopened for continued editing at any time.
This is your "all-in-one" video editor that deserves to be connected to your camera. It's easy to use, has the power to produce. Making movies has never been so much fun! OEM versions of VideoWave ship with a number of 1394 cards, video cards, camcorders and digital cameras, as well as some PC systems.
