Download/HomepageIf you are serious about your images, whether collecting them, shooting them or creating them, PhotoSuite 4 should be the 1st program you reach for! This program (the Platinum Edition) is so easy to use and has many of the features you will need in managing your image files. PhotoSuite 4 has a host of features and is only limited by your imagination. One great feature is being able to "Group" collections of photos into "Albums." Each album can then be modified, photos can be added, edited, retouched, cropped, resized and much more. All the while keeping your collections in easy, maintained albums.
Although PhotoSuite 4 so many great features, let me touch on how "I" have been using it. First, I collected the many photos I had scattered around on my hard drive, and snapped a few more with my digital camera. Second, I then created the "Albums" such as Fun Stuff, Kids, My Photos, Vacations, etc. Once this was done it was just a matter of inserting the pictures into the proper "Album." You can then select any of the albums to view the contents of that particular. When looking at the contents, you can select any of the photos to further image enhance them. Touch them up by using editing tools such as; Cutouts, Paint & Draw, Special Effects and more.
Want more or need more? Have fun with this program by going a step further and using features such as; Adding Text, assembling photos into collages, add "props" to the image (switch body parts, etc), stitch several photos together, create an interactive panoramic image and a host of other features. I especially enjoyed creating Slide Shows as well as being able to arrange my many photos onto paper (into Layouts), and print them out as a scrapbook.
Now, keep in mind all work in PhotoSuite 4 is accomplished via easy-to-use navigational buttons. So if you are comfortable with browsing the Internet, PhotoSuite 4 will make you feel right at home. Speaking of the Internet. When you register PhotoSuite 4 you will also gain access to some free hosting service where you can later upload your private collection(s) of photos for others to see. Or signup and send them to Kodak's Photonet for further processing. With the over 1500 templates available you too could be creating slide show screen savers, framed photos, calendars, cards, name tags, photo layouts, group photo layouts, posters, packaged prints and on and on! Additional templates are available on their Web site for use during Holidays, popular events, etc.
On the technical aspects of PhotoSuite 4 you will find that it is super easy to use and the support team at MGI Software deserves 10 stars alone! I personally was using competitive products to manage and enhance photos but have since uninstalled them all in favor of PhotoSuite 4! You will too. Is it any wonder PhotoSuite 4 is #1 and is shipped with so many products? PhotoSuite could just as easily be called "PhotoSweet" as it is the most versatile program of its kind.
