Tired of preparing your bulk mail by hand? Going through stacks and stacks of letters, or whatever it is that you send out in bulk mail. Sorting, more sorting, and yet more sorting by zip, by name. If you ever needed an easier way to do your bulk mailing than Postage $aver should come as an economical time saver for you!
Postage $aver will sort your data files (if you've been keeping your lists in them), and do so all according to the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) requirements. You can sort by the standard presort mail (3rd class), or 1st class, and even by periodical presort mail. When Postage $aver completes it mission it produces complete instructions for each mailing showing you how to build each package and tray or sack of mail! Need more info? It also provides you piece counts and postage totals necessary for completing your entire bulk mailing statements, complete with any accompanying USPS rate qualification reports, and the bar-coded tray and sack tags.
So go ahead and use your database of names and addresses that you've been storing in MS Access, dBase, ASCII files, Mail Merge files, or other mailing list software. Postage $aver is configurable so don't worry about the little details. Postage $aver will have you covered as it will automatically reject, and list zip codes that are not in proper five-digit or nine-digit form. NOTE: Postage $aver cannot prepare mail for carrier route sorts, will sort a maximum of 100,000 addresses at one time, and only works in the United States.
We all know how the mail service changes every now and then. Stamp prices go up, regulations change, etc. Postage $aver is updated (free for Registered users) to stay current with any changes that the United States Postal Service makes.
All in all it looks like the author of Postage $aver has spent a great deal of time and detail in this program. So before I go off on postal puns I'd better just ask that you check this program out and see how much time you save in your next bulk mailing.
