This is simply the best Image Editor I have had the pleasure to use. Despite the complexity of the software its ease of use has given me the best results I have ever attained on photo restoration.

An outstanding range of photo enhancement and retouching tools (28 enhancement and 9 processing) are available to correct scratches, dust, noise, red eyes and many other defects for REAL enhancements of your photos. Highly effective retouching with unique brushes ( in fact with all filters/effects applied in brush) add to the armory of tools at your disposal. Whilst these are easy to use, and you see the results in virtually real time, Picture Man has animated tutorials for the absolute "newbie" which run in auto mode and teach advanced retouching techniques and tips-n-tricks of Picture Man tools and interface. Other effects include Paint with effects/filter, even with third-party plugin and you can keep multiple tools on the desktop which do not cancel each other out when used. There is also OLE automation and infinite undo-redo, multi layers, advanced painting and plugin support and lots, lots more.

To my mind this betters the "Big boys" on all fronts and is an absolute "must have".
