Casper XP™ is the next generation of Drive2Drive (reviewed elsewhere here), that is now designed particularly for Windows XP and Windows 2000 systems. Drive2Drive performed very well so you can rest assured that Casper XP will do so also. Both work seamlessly when you need to copy one drive to another. It will capture your entire contents, including the hidden files and system files as well as any partition!

Since Casper XP runs from the Microsoft Windows environment, there is no need to create a special startup disk or learning old DOS commands. Simply install Casper XP on the current, working hard drive, shut the system down, install the other hard drive as your slave and reboot. Casper XP will recognize the slave drive upon bootup and will walk you through the copying via some on-screen instructions. Once everything is copied all you have to do then is shut the system down, make the slave into the Master and reboot. Everything will work flawlessly from then on out!

With the Registered Versions you can easily copy an entire hard disk or copy an individual drive or partition to another hard disk or drive using all of the partition allocated. When copying a smaller disk to a larger disk, Casper XP lets you resize the drive(s) being copied! Unlike other drive copying programs, Casper XP will even copy a larger hard disk to a smaller hard disk (provided there is enough space on the smaller hard disk).
