Nethack - Falcon's Eye edition is a version of Nethack that is
designed to have an interface that looks like most games available. This version
is based on Nethack 3.3.1.
The basic story is that you have to find the Amulet of Yendor for your god. The
amulet is rumoured to be located somewhere in the Mazes of Menace and is
considered to be extremely valuable.
The game has a random number generator that creates a new maze each time the
game is played so it is different each time you play.
Nethack is single player only, there is no multi-player version available.
Nethack, (without the Falcon's Eye interface) is available on the following
OS's:- Linux, MS-DOS, Windows3.1, Windows 95/98/NT/2000/Me/XP , Macintosh,
Amiga, OS/2 and Atari).
