Don't even think about waiting until Thanksgiving gets close to download and order this screensaver. If you are into eating and preparing good food this screensaver will delight you. If you are on a diet wait until just before Thanksgiving to download and buy it. That way you will hopefully be able to restrain yourself from just trying out a few of those dishes before Thanksgiving.

This is a really novel approach to screensavers. In the shareware version you get really nice photos of some of the Thanksgiving dishes along with their ingredients. Plus tasteful relaxing music. Here are some of the dishes: Mary's Herb Roasted Turkey (with cranberry stuffing!), Emily's Favorite Pot Roast (using pork loin). There is a soup with squash and apples that is to die for. The squash casserole looks might tasty too. Lorraines Cranberry Carmel Bars, golly I could gobble up a bunch of them right now.

These are not your open a can of this and add frozen that either. These are honest to goodness made from scratch, real food recipes. You know the ones that contain real butter and stock. My God the photos and ingredient lists that come with the shareware version are not doing my diet any good. Whenever the screensaver comes on I rush to the kitchen. Maybe if I just have one more of those hot buttered rums I'll be okay..

The full version comes with over 25 recipes that can be browsed and printed.

I have this mental picture of those people at RI Soft all gaining about 15 pounds making this one.

In conclusion this is a really nice and useful screensaver. It will delight you year round. Plus it is be a great gift idea for any cook you know.
