I must admit I am not a games person, I find Solitaire complicated : but Strike-A-Light got me hooked and with its superb graphics, ease of use and challenge to your strategy skills I am sure it will do the same for you.

Strike-A-Light is a combination of Chess and Othello (or Reversi). You need to protect your own Pieces whilst at the same time devising a form of attack on your opponent's Pieces. The Lasers in Strike-A-Light provide the means to protect your Pieces and attack your opponent. A simple rule of thumb is to cover as many Pieces as possible (yours and your opponents) with your Lasers - but be careful of other Lasers on the board. You may inadvertently set up a chain reaction that could let your opponent win in the next move!

Features include Stunning 32 bit graphics and stereo sound. Play against the computer. Nine difficulty levels to match your skill. Play against a friend (also includes an easy to use play-by-email option). Full Undo / Redo of every move in the game. Automatic and manual saving of games. Complete install and uninstall.

Fully skinnable to suit your mood. Very reasonably priced and addictive game.
