Iconoid is a simple little utility that gets rid of the boxes around text on your desktop that spoil your fantastic background image. This is another program that makes using the computer just that little bit better and is one of the first programs I download after a system reformat.

The program also has other features that are very useful, such as the ability to hide the icons and being able to place Iconoid in the system tray so that it starts up when the computer does.
