I liked this program, it fitted my "Good Software" criteria
exactly and that is :
1 - Simple to use
2 - Versatile
3 - Does what it says it will do
AutoImager is another "make life easier" program when it comes to graphics. It
will convert a list of images you have selected into any one of over 60 image
file formats (listed below) either as a batch process or you can individually
process them. You can also save the list and load it at a later time.
Image file formats:
AWD, BMP, CAL, CGM, CLP, CMP, CUR, CUT, DCM, DGN, DIC, DRW, DXF, DWG, EMF, EPS,
EXIF, FAX, FPX, GIF, ICA, ICO, IFF, IMG, ITG, JBIG, JPEG, MAC, MSP, PCD, PCT,
PCX, PSD, PLT, PBM, PDF, PNG, SGI, RAS, TIFF, TGA, XBM, XPM, XWD, WFX, WMF, WPG,
and more!
That's one function. "That's fine" you think "but there's loads of software to
do that". Yes there is but will that software also auto enhance and alter a
selected list of your images in all these ways:
Auto-Trim, Crop, Deskew, Flip, Mirror, Resample, Resize, Rotate, Shear, Add
Noise, Auto-Contrast, Average, Binary Filters, Blend, Blur, Border Remove,
Brightness, Buttonize, Color Resolution, Contour, Contrast, Despeckle, Diffuse,
Dilate, Dot Remove, Emboss, Erode, Gamma Correct, Grayscale, Half-tone,
HistoContrast, HistoEqualize, Hole Punch Remove, Hue, Intensity Detect, Invert,
Line Remove, Matrix, Max Filter, Median, Min Filter, Mosaic, Motion Blur,
Negative, Oilify, Outline, Parabolic, Perspective, Pinch, Posterize, Push, RGB
Enhance, Ripple, Saturation, Sharpen, Smooth, Solarize, Spatial Filters, Stretch
Intensity, Swirl, Twist, WindowLevel, and more.
"Possibly but highly unlikely" you think. "OK I can convert into any one of over
60 image file formats, auto enhance and alter images with a whole heap of
configurable effects either individually or as a batch. Anything else?" Well yes
actually. With over 125 configurable command-line choices, it's easy to create
batch files to perform image processing tasks which may need to be done
routinely. You can set up your computer to run the batch file on a schedule and
leave the routine image processing tasks to AutoImager. Entire in-house imaging
procedures can be automated with ease, utilizing the command-line support
provided. The possibilities are virtually endless!
"But isn't that going to be difficult or complicated!!" you cry. Not at all
AutoImager has a nice user friendly interface and a very clear help section all
of which makes it a doddle to use. "In that case I'll order a copy now!" you
shout with glee.
I just knew you would.
