This is a very easy and workmanlike program which is just how it should be. It makes scanning and downloading photos from your digital camera very easy. One word of warning though, make sure your digital camera is Twain compliant or it wont be recognized by this software.

The scanning and acquiring bit is very easy, just one click, it's the post scanning and acquiring that makes this a neat little piece of software. Again with one click you can fax, email, save or print your picture. I was impressed with the fact that in both Fax and Print you can resize and position your image anywhere you want on the page, an extremely useful feature. Scan assist also saves your images to a gallery as a compressed jpeg(adjustable in the options feature) which makes for faster emailing. These can be viewed at various percentages in a separate window.

The free version is limited to 10 scans/photo downloads but at the easy on the pocket price of $14.00 to register I'm sure you'll be using this time and time again.
