It never fails to amaze me that software such as Advanced Email
Extractor is available. I mean it seems like only yesterday that I was tapping
away at a keyboard on an 8086 machine with a green screen and 4mb of RAM and
Internet was only for universities. Yet here I am reviewing an absolutely magic
piece of software that is gleaning email addresses by the hundred at the click
of a mouse button.
Advanced Email Extractor is software that will extract e-mail addresses from
web-pages on the Internet (using HTTP and HTTPS protocols) and from HTML and
text files on local disks. It is able to work through a proxy-server and is very
fast, due to the fact that it can load several pages simultaneously, and
requires very few resources.
It has configurable scanning options with which you can extract only the
addresses you actually want from web-pages, instead of extracting all the
addresses like comments@, youremail@ etc. Advanced Email Extractor is very
flexible and may be used to extract e-mail addresses with owners real names from
"simple sites" as well as from web-forums built on scripts and from servers like
ZDNet. On top of all that you can search by keywords using popular search
engines such as AltaVista, Excite, Yahoo, InfoSeek and others, including UK,
German, French, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, Taiwanese, Chinese, Hong-Kong,
Dutch, Brazilian, Portuguese, Finnish, Canadian, Danish, Russian, Czech,
Israelitish, Greek, Australian, New Zealand and Estonian engines all of which
have links to them in the program
The resulting lists of email addresses can be either exported to MS Excel or
saved as .txt, .lst, .csv or the program's own .aee format.
Using an easy on the eye graphical user interface and simplicity itself to use
this is a must have for all webmasters.
