The install was easy. It like all good programs these days lets you install it where you want. When I opened it for the first time I got a 30 day nag screen. Then when it opens the first choice you are faced with is the mode that you want it to run in either Basic or Advanced. I choose Advanced. Then I opened the Help file to figure out how to use it and got that nag screen again.

Ok here is what you get. TreePad PLUS is essentially a database tool for making your own databases in either a flat file or tree file. The beauty of it is that it is intuitive and will easily walk you through the needed steps to create the type of database that best suits your needs. I don't want you to get the idea that it is a basic featureless tool. In fact it is just the opposite. You can use hyperlinks and other tools. In fact here are some of the ways that other users have had for TreePad PLUS:
Personal information manager
Personal database
Storing notes
Study tool
Office on a floppy
Documentation tool
Easy Intranet-site generation tool
Instant Website generation tool
To-do list manager
Linguistics teaching
Electronic Photo Album

I am just listing a few the list is much bigger. In general you have a tree view on the left and your data on the right a method that works very well. You can explode trees and contract them just as if you are using Windows Explorer. You can jump from place to place with hyperlinks. There is lots more too but you should check that all out yourself.

And oh yes I forgot to mention that the program size is small something really nice to see in this era of bloat ware.

Hey if you just need a simple data base tool they even recommend you use their freeware version. You can't ask for more!

In conclusion. If you are reading this you are probably looking for a PIM or database tool. If so this one is well worth trying.

Try It! Buy It!
