Interactive JPEG Optimizer is exactly what the title says, it optimizes your jpeg image files; it minimizes the file size which lessens the quality of the jpeg image file. This product is great for web graphics because website graphics need to be small and optimized (lower quality) to download quickly. The help tips are worth reading prior to using so you understand how this program works quickly! Note this product isn't for casual digital imaging editing or resizing. The user must understand image file quality to use this product or they may end up destroying precious files that they cannot fix.

I really like the WYSIWYG interface that allows you to alter the image(s) while you are looking at the image deterioration and size difference. The layout of this feature is so good that it is like a game, seeing how low can you go before the image becomes distorted.

I wish this was a time out or number of image trial because the demo only marks put on each file optimized made it harder to tell how good the image quality was after being reduced for size efficiency.
