For those of you that find getting your digital photos from the camera to paper a nightmare, welcome to one of those pleasant relaxing dreams where everything is easy and relaxing. All you have to do is download Photomeister and click on some buttons, it's really that simple.
This is "grannyproof" software, simplicity itself to use whilst giving polished results. PhotoMeister is a digital photo management program that lets you manage and improve your pictures in three easy steps.

Step one is import your pictures, either from your digital camera, scanner or from files already on your disk, to an album. PhotoMeister will create clickable thumbnails of the pictures so that you can navigate easily. The program works with JPG, TIF, BMP, PCX, ICO, CUR, PNG, WMF, EMF, TGA, PXM file formats.

Step two is to improve the pictures using these tools all of which are simple to use via the clear graphical interface with real time viewing.
" rotating: rotate portrait format photos with a simple mouse click
" red-eye: remove that "red eye" from your pictures
" framing: add a frame around your photo.
" cropping: remove those unwanted pieces.
" fuzziness: blur your pictures for artistic flair.
" sharpen: bring those blurry pictures into focus.
" optimize: make your photos more appealing to the human eye
" deleting: get rid of bad, unsharp or otherwise unwanted photos quickly
" dumping: put photos on the side and decide later if you want to use them
" Filters:
o sharpen, blur, noise removal
o find edges and emboss
" Adjustments for
o rotation and mirroring
o histogram and RGB
o contrast and brightness
o hue/saturation/luminosity

Step three is publishing, saving etc. with the following choices:
" Print: Print attractive albums or produce prints in any size with your printer
" Email: send your photos directly to an email recipient using your existing email program such as Microsoft™ Outlook®.
" Web: create a web-based photo album to upload to your personal webspace (more than 15 professional layout templates are already included and you can even create your own).
" PDF: make an Adobe™ Acrobat® version of a photo album to send through email, print, or burn to CD-ROM.
" Screensaver/Slideshow: create a "screensaver photo album" to send to friends or install on your Microsoft™ Windows® computer.
" Palm Pilot: if you have a Palm-based PDA, then let PhotoMeister create a photo album you can walk around with and show your friends and colleagues

There is a full manual which can be downloaded (PDF format) though the software is that easy to use I doubt you will need it. A most impressive piece of software which takes the mystery out of digital photo improvement and publishing.
