How many times have you felt like really smashing your monitor after you've stopped yelling at screaming about all those crazy, annoying pop-up ads that splatter all over your screen while surfing the Internet? After a very short time you really get sick of them don't you? I know I do! I get so tired of closing those annoying ads that sometimes I want to scream. I remember I once surfed over to some site (I don't remember where for sure) but I must have had to close a minimum of twenty ads! But that was long before I found Popup Stopper Basic. That's when I went on the search for the perfect ad blocker. I tried several until I found Popup Stopper Basic. Its name really does say it all. Popup Stopper Basic is your perfect companion when doing any amount of Internet surfing. It does what it says, and says what it does!

Popup Stopper Basic does come in many flavors and I do recommend purchasing either the Pro version or the Companion version. Although they do have a download for a free version (which handles the ads very well), but your purchase gives you a much better product as far as features, which I review here in the Pro version.

Popup Stopper Basic Pro is easy to install, does a tremendous job in stopping those annoying ads and resides very neatly on your browser as a small toolbar. With this toolbar comes the functionality of setting many of its options and features.

Popup Stopper Basic is the only product to provide native support for AOL, MSN, Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, Yahoo SBC, CompuServe, WMConnect, Juno, NetZero and Mozilla all in one software package! It is also I believe the only one of its type that is sold in retail stores (Companion Version).

What I liked about Popup Stopper Basic was the fact that it will close those annoying script errors many other ad stoppers don't. Sometimes when an ad pops up you may see an error dialog box telling you about some scripting errors (because the ad was not allowed to pop up). Popup Stopper Basic will automatically close those errors so you can continue on with your business. If you wish, you can allow any URL not to be blocked, which can also be changed anytime later. If you want any pop up to appear you can set a hot key that allows them when invoked.

Bottom line: When you get sick enough of those aggravating pop ups you'll soon see the many benefits of having Popup Stopper Basic! Don't be fooled by the others that promise this and that. Many of those others either don't do all they say they will do, don't block all the ads all the time, or are only useful for a limited amount of time! So until those annoying pop up ads are outlawed, Popup Stopper Basic is your best choice!
