For the money AudioEdit Deluxe is a fine music editor program
that is as near to the higher priced ones of this genre that I have seen come
along in awhile. With it you can record, edit and mix down any sound bite or
file until you feel you have that perfect sound. You can record from your own
microphone, any audible videotape or record streaming audio from the Internet.
In short, AudioEdit Deluxe can and will record from most any available source
you can connect to your PC. If you have ever used Cool Edit Pro or GoldWave than
you will feel comfortable with AudioEdit Deluxe.
Of course you can do more than just record. AudioEdit Deluxe gives you the
capability to convert in a number of ways. Convert CD audio tracks direct from
your CD to MP3, OGG, WMA or WAV formats. Conversion standards in AudioEdit
Deluxe are from MP3 to Wav, WAV/MP3 to OGG, WMA to WAV, WMA to MP3, WAV to MP3,
WAV to WMA, MP3 to WMA, OGG to WAV or OGG to MP3. When converting from an audio
CD AudioEdit Deluxe gives you the capability also to save the track title,
artist and any album information. It is up to you just how much of this
information you want to save, in any order you want!
After you have played your sound file, adjusted any qualities such as Fade In or
Fade Out, added Flanger effects, or a number of other attributes you can
compress or convert (MP3) and adjust its bitrate, frequency, quality and the
channels you desire. If you have any number of files you want to process all at
once AudioEdit Deluxe gives you the option to batch process WAV/MP3 files and
convert them from their current settings to others such as CD quality, radio
quality and more as you would expect in this type of audio editor.
AudioEdit Deluxe supports the following file formats so that you can edit audio
files:
1.. AVI audio content
2..VOX Dialogic ADPCM
3.. MPEG Audio (various layers) to include MP2 and MP3
4..OGG Vorbis Audio
5.. CD Audio Tracks
6..Windows Media Audio
7.. RAW Audio
8.. Waveform audio (PCM wave)
You have 15 days to try it out before it expires so gather up all of your sound
titles or any audio you want to edit and then give AudioEdit Deluxe a spin.
