Memory Defragmenter

Type of Program: RAM Optimizer
Supported Platforms: Windows 95/98/ME/NT4/2000/XP
Company Name: ABEXO
Price: $15
Installer Size: 463 KB
Trial limitations: 5-use limit

What it does:
It runs as a icon in your system tray and displays how many memory is still available. At an (adjustable) min level, it will automatically optimize your system's RAM. Clicking on the icon will manually "defrag" RAM.

Very limited configuration options. No setting NOT to defrag when CPU are working above a certain level, which is logically very critical.

I loaded my system with about every software I had to try and crash it. It survived, but slowed down my system to a frustrating delay. Accidentally clicking on the icon is the worse, as my system comes to a halt while "defraging" takes place. Closing the program gave me back control to my system and much faster access. Off course this is not the way it was intended to be used, but on my system it will be.

Trial version gives you 5 free uses (not days!).

Uninstall is not listed in "add/remove programs" list (on WinXP). Uninstall is however possible through the link in the start menu and in the application installed directory.
