to be submitted and you receive free upgrades
The interface consists of a row of buttons on the right for the various
functions, a URL field to enter your site addresses and the main work area where
you choose which URLs you want to work with. You can submit one or more sites
that you have added or you can submit the whole list at once.
There are a number of tools to help you do a thorough submission. There's a ping
tool to check that your site is up before submitting, an analysis tool that
checks your site's description and keywords, popularity tool that check for
links to your site from Alltheweb, a ranking tool that returns results from
fourteen search engines based on keyword search, Keyword suggestion tool that
queries five engines for related keywords, Advertise tool that gives you the
option to submit to several paid indexing services including Inktome, Yahoo,
Google, and Looksmart, and an Import function to add URLs from per line or comma
delimited list.
The program is easy to use and gives you everything you need to prepare your
site and submit it. It helps you avoid many of the common pitfalls of site
submission, ensuring that your site will be accepted and ranked properly. The
only thing I didn't like is that there are no included help files. Not that you
will need much help but I would have liked to see it included rather than online
help only. Otherwise this program is a real gem. The online help has a lot of
great information about the ins and outs of site submission and ranking and is a
must read.
