Ace Money is the absolute best checkbook program available for the home or small business. It is small but has features of some of the biggest and most popular personal accounting software packages on the market. Ace Money has all the bells and whistles most users need. It does not have a "check register" interface, but as good as Ace Money is, you don't even miss that feature. The downloaded version has no limitations, but please spend the $20 to get rid of those nags!!
