Hey what do you know, somebody actually listens when we speak.
What am I talking about? Well when we originally reviewed this product we panned
it. They emailed us and said they had followed our advice and made corrections.
So now here is what you have, You have a freeware tool that is suitable for
someone with a small mailing list. The setup is easy and the way it works is
But like I said this is for someone with a small list. I ran a small list I have
through it, a list of 65 email addresses. It took 4 minutes to check them. Now
it does a real job. It gives you a report at the end of how many valid email
addresses there are, how many invalid, and how many that it couldn't confirm.
Here is what you need to keep in mind. First off it is Freeware so you aren't
out any money. Now for it's limitations. It will only check lists that have up
to 500 addresses, and it will only do 5 multithread connections (that is one of
the reasons it takes awhile). They also state this in the Help File:
Warning: The program does not validate 100% of the email address. It will detect
about 80% of the invalid email addresses.
What I found was that is now does a pretty good job of validating a list. I did
find though that it timed out on any AOL addresses.
In conclusion. They have certainly improved the product. I can now recommend it.
