I spent ages looking around for a good classified ads program but whilst finding some very good ones, they all lacked one thing or another. Then I came across ISELL and that was that, it has everything you could wish for. I tried the free ad supported version first and was so impressed that I upgraded to the Silver version within a day for $49.95 and that is saying something as I get free software as a reviewer.

Installation is very easy, just upload the 4 files in ascii mode to your cgi bin set permissions to 755 and run classifieds.cgi from your browser then you set the clearly laid out and easy to understand configuration. The makers claim is "Generate Client & Sales Leads, Automate Traffic AND Repeat Traffic, Build Email lists and Earn Revenue, faster , easier than ever... " and I can see why. Every time someone places an ad they get placed on an emailing list for that category which in time will give you targeted leads. More revenue can be built using paid ads, banners and more plus there is already a set of built in banner ads that pay high commission on sales and can be switched on or off with one click.
