If you are ever calculating complex formula then you should stop right now and make Nexcal do all the hard work for you. It allows you to enter in complex mathematical expressions almost as they are and it will calculate them at a touch of the "Calculate" button. Many functions are supported, including prime number calculation, simple algebra solving, multiple bases, and unit conversion. There are also 50 definable variables.

This is a great program and being freeware there is absolutely no reason to not at least try it out!

N.B. The only reason why I gave this program a 4 for "User Friendly" is due to it really being better suited to more advanced needs. Ignoring that factor it easily deserves a 5. It has an excellent help file with easy access within the program, plus helpful tips at start-up.
