As you might imagine the setup of an anti-spam program can be time consuming, but important. The good news is that they have done a good job of thinking through the setup procedures and the Account Wizard will pretty much get you going with little effort.

How does Dewqs' NMS work?

Any given message first goes through NMS' drastic heuristic engine. This engine uses over 5000 words and expressions to analyze the contents of a message, with the sole aim of detecting whether it is spam or not.

It then goes through a set of four filters in a minus-plus-minus-plus succession. And ends with the address-book protection. Alternately you may elect to place address-book scan ahead of these four (see general options). This will allow you to block potential viruses coming from a friend. For, even though NMS is not an antivirus, it does detect a couple of easy ones...

I guess what you really want to know is if it really helps you in the Spam War. Yes indeed it sure does. I tested it against two other Spam programs that I have found good and No More Spam! did a much better job than both of them.

You can do lots of things with this program that the others haven't thought of. You can view the emails, you can bounce the bad emails (with some really innovative methods), plus you can use the unsubscribe address that some of them have. Plus it has many ways that you can customize the program.

In conclusion this is the best anti-spam program that I have seen.
