Almost like it's counterpart (Popup Stopper Basic and reviewed elsewhere here), the Professional version offers even more when blocking those annoying popup ads! So if you really want to get even tougher in combating those ads and if Popup Stopper Basic is not enough for you, than the Professional version may do the job. Popup Stopper Professional is your perfect defense!

This program is fast and very easy to install from its CD. After it is installed it resides neatly on your Task Tray. You can set many of your own personal preferences on how vigorously you want to block the ads, sounds to play, etc. This Professional version supports AOL, MSN, Internet Explorer, Netscape, Yahoo SBC and more!

With Popup Stopper Professional you can also keep track and clean cache files, cookies, downloaded programs, histories and much more. When you visit any site that has a popup and if that popup generates any scripting error, Popup Stopper Professional will automatically close any and all error dialog boxes (if selected within your Preferences). This allows you to continue on browsing the Internet in a way it was meant to be surfed!

Now, if you want to allow ads from any of the sites you visit, you can allow them with a click of the mouse. Or, if you need for a popup window to open simply hold down your Control key (or another you choose) while clicking and the popup window will open as normal.

Bottom line: The only slight drawback I first had with this program was that when I was "offline" the program would every few minutes launch my dial-up connection (connect-to box). After a quick response via email support I quickly found that I had the option selected to "check for updates" under Preferences. Once I unchecked that feature the program ran great! So to help combat those pesky popup ads that you don't want, with extra strength Vs the Basic version, Popup Stopper Professional is a sure pro!
