FLASH-Album creates amazing digital photographic 3D albums that you can leaf through just as if you were leafing through a real book. Amazingly you can create an album in under a minute and publish it to the web or local hard drive it really is that easy. The user can completely personalize the covers, and the pages with a choice of different covers, backgrounds, decorations, frames and animated clip-art. The frame decorations and both static and animated clipart can be resized and rotated with in the program and text boxes can be placed on the pages too. You can import JPG background images for covers and page backgrounds and drop SWF files. There is of course an Image preview (zoom option) and you can opt to print only the images or print the whole page with image, text and background. There is also an option to set the compression quality. Multi images can be placed on pages and page turning can be set to auto (speed adjustable) or manual.

Included in the program is free web space to publish your albums through one click though the more experienced can upload to their own sites outside of the program. The user can also send the url of the album by email from within the program. There are extra graphics packs available for those who can't be bothered producing their own.

I found this a joy to use and the results are very impressive and would easily be improved by someone with a more artistic eye than I have. The program does require Macromedia Flash Player 6, which is freely available and costs nothing. This is well worth a look.
