A lot of times you can tell which programs are going to being good by the installation. Smart Color Pick'n'Capture is one of those. It does all the right things in the install that make it easier for the user.

The learning curve with Smart Color Pick'n'Capture is about zero too. Here is what it does. You drag the "color picker" from the program to the area where you want to find out the color values (RGB). If that is all you need then you have those values and you are done. However Smart Color Pick'n'Capture makes it easy to do the things that you usually want to do if you are looking at color values. You can bring up the Windows color palette and pick colors out of that and see how they look alongside the color you have captured. (Take a look at the screenshot.  See the two colors in the top right?) Is the color you want to capture the value of only a little bitty speckle? Well Smart Color Pick'n'Capture will zoom right in so that you can get it's color values too.

That's not all. Smart Color Pick'n'Capture does screen capture too!

In conclusion. For $8.95 this one of the biggest values I have seen. Go try out the fully featured download version and I'm sure that you will agree.
