Digipen now in 2.0 release easily creates non flash animated backgrounds signatures, and messages for mail programs like Outlook Express. I was a little skeptical about loading some more code for something I would not use often but it installed easily, worked fine, was easy to use and in fact I liked a lot.

Its forte is not to rip a note to your C.E.O but for most normal people it is kind of cute. It's a bit pricey at $31.95 and about 3500K footprint
