There are many "Photo Album" programs out there and I've tried a
few more than I care to remember but Flip Album is something else. This is the
Rolls Royce of photo album software.
With this program you can Create and Distribute 3D Page-Flipping Digital Albums
on CDs which are also playable in the more modern DVD players. The actual
flipping of the pages is absolutely realistic and reflects the high quality you
find throughout the program. Easy to use and packed with features like drag and
drop photos onto the page, auto creation of album from folder, text annotation,
sound, Print entire photo album or selected pages. Individual photos can be
printed on standard 4R/8R size or Avery labels, built in themes and borders,
photo retouching, centerfold layout, 3d and drop shadow effects, multiple photos
on one page, transparency support and a whole host more.
Flip Album supports most standard images and multimedia formats: .opf, .gif,
.tif, .bmp, .jpg, .pcx, .ico, .wmf, .pcd, .png, .psd, .wav, .mid, .avi, .mpg and
.mp3.
Designing your photo albums is easy and has a degree of WYSIWYG so you get
instant viewing of your work. You can even design and import your own themes and
borders to add to the themes and borders already supplied. The program
automatically sets up your contents and index pages and again you can drag and
drop to re-arrange the order and all relevant indexes are updated automatically.
Albums can be uploaded to the web for viewing online as well.
I must admit that this is the first time that this hardened old reviewer has got
excited about a program for a long time but this deserves the praise and
remember this Your FlipAlbumŪ CD will not crease and deteriorate over time. That
says it all..
