You have this old music collection lying around and you would like to be able to transfer them from those old, vinyl records or tapes onto something a little more modern, right? Well there is. Music Conversion Suite may be your answer. With the Music Conversion Suite you can easily rip from your old records or tapes. By using Music Conversion Suite you can turn those old songs into something that can be played on any CD ROM.

Since Music Conversion Suite is so simple to use, here's how it works; you hook your record player or tape drive up to your computer through its line-in jack, set your recording properties to record from the line-in and launch Music Conversion Suite. Once Music Conversion Suite is launched simply click on the "Rip Album" icon, give your tunes a title and name and click "Start" to begin ripping from the old to the new!

Since many of your old music may contain hisses or silences you can adjust for that through the Music Conversion Suite's Peak and Duration scales. The Peak Scale allows you to set it for what Music Conversion Suite considers to be silence. If and when the music drops below this set point then it will be considered as silence. The Duration is the amount of time that is considered as silence before Music Conversion Suite cuts it and deems it to be another.WAV file.

Most generally all you will need to do is leave everything at its Defaults and start ripping. You can collect all your old tunes and rip as many as you want since Music Conversion Suite allows for multiple tracks. Once you have them ripped into the .WAV format, use Music Conversion Suite to convert them into the MP3 format and burn them onto your CD.

Pretty simple, right? Music Conversion Suite is small both in its footprint and file size but seems to do the job nicely.
