This is THE ONE program you will use over and over! The Grand Daddy of all screen capture programs of course is SnagIt. Originally released back in 1990, SnagIt has become the defacto in this genre. Where others can only mimic SnagIt, there can be only one and this I it.

With the release of this version there also comes many great features. You have the standard in Image capturing, Text capturing, Video capturing, Web capturing and Printer capturing (five programs in one). SnagIt will always be in the right place at the right time; ready to simplify whatever you do with over forty ways to capture exactly what you need.

I'm really not bias towards SnagIt but the truth is I have tried other capture programs that just do not measure up to this one. It's a great product that gives you most everything when you need everything in this type of application. Because it can work with so many of your present Microsoft Windows applications (it resides on the Toolbar), it can boost your productivity without ever leaving your open application.

Capture Management made easy - With it you can capture as many images, text or video clips and keep them all organized. These catalogs can show your captured images as thumbnails for easy insertion into any document. Add to that the Catalog Browser to sort or batch convert, print, copy, move, etc many of your captures and never have the headaches of other's file listing techniques! I really liked the ability to batch convert and create Web pages of all my textures, complete with thumbnails and ready to go within one minute. Now, speaking of Web pages, why not try out the Web Image Capture tool? With this tool you can scan the Web and capture images you specify from any site(s). Set your filters and options in the Program Preferences, enter the URL and let SnagIt do the rest. It will search the entered URL and catalog all images found from that site into a folder of the same name, ready for you to navigate and catalog. Imagine the time you will save with this feature alone!

If you want more power and more professionalism than use the featured packed SnagIt Studio. With it you can add annotations, callouts, titles, graphics, and clip art to any of your screen captures. You can also create your own catalogs of your favorite or personal callouts that you can draw from its image editor. For more control you can export your modified file(s) using a variety of formats. In short, SnagIt Studio is a great companion for anyone who needs to modify your screen captures with additional graphic images. You can insert clip art, add shapes, annotate or make changes to the captured image to make it stand out. If this is not enough use the Studio to create simple style Flowcharts or use the video capturing tool that's included to capture moving images!

SnagIt has so many options I think it would be better if you saw for yourself so why not pay them a visit?
